our first meal in sintra and it did not disappoint! peaceful and pretty little restaurant. we trusted the waiter’s recommendations and it was mind blowing! we enjoyed the food so much as well as the unforgettable chocolate cake that was truly unforgettable (i don’t even like chocolates!)

We are a couple of tourist from Hong Kong, visiting Sintra for the first time. We found this restaurant in Google map as its good comments, that’s truth. The restaurant is a little and cosy place. We sat down after half an hour it was almost full house. The waiters were still very friendly although they were busy. The traditional codfish dishes here were so delicious which we have never tasted before, absolutely unforgettable.

Update: went back after 6 months and somehow the crispy fish skin was not as good as before. The salad was also just quite ok. Our B&B recommended this restaurant so we gave it a try. We were very happy with everything. The staff was very friendly. Service was quick and the dishes were really good. They specialise in cod fish and all 3 dishes we tried were superb. I especially like how tasty the crispy fishskin of the green salad was. But the octopus was also very tasty.

Small and cozy place with a lot of fish. I tried soup, main dish, appetizer and tartas. Everything was super tasty. Definitely recommend to visit if you like to try the codfish.

We stopped by for lunch after the morning visit to the Pena Palace. We loved the food here especially the bacalhau A Bras, and the pastel da vila bacalhau which was just an outstanding dish. Compliments to the chef Santos and all the staff there.

Very nice restaurant with everything bacalhau! Food is amazing, service was great. Really liked all the dishes and had good wine! Would recommend for sure.
